RW on a personal note
As a philosopher with a PhD, I have been especially interested in corporate substance, philosophy, identity and wording from the onset of my career. I set out as a TV journalist with the Austrian public service broadcaster ORF to later become a publicist for corporations in the economic and financial sectors. In-depth knowledge of communications, economic training and a consistently growing network led me to found Dr Ricki Weiss PR Management & International Consulting in Vienna in 2003.
In my function as communications expert and consultant, I take family enterprises and corporations by the hand in their quest to improve their image. The medium of film remains at my fingertips – with a feel for the right staging and an ingenious post-production team, I produce image films and interviews with equal pleasure.
Apart from my headquarters in Vienna, I have expanded to my home town of Kitzbühel as well as the European economical centre of London. This allows me to be in close range of clients in the west of Austria on the one hand, and on the other hand, my UK-base is an attractive location for global communication and a port-of-call for corporations outside Europe.
Strategic consulting, CEO communication and positioning your corporation in a global context are all aspects of business that have become sought-after specialisations. My knowledge of export management and intercultural competencies reinforce my holistic approach to international business. This approach ideally facilitates analyses, structured planning and the goal-oriented implementation of measures that need to be taken.
Over the years, I have found a great amount of satisfaction in working with individuals on their career goals. Behind the scenes, careers are forged, and my experience from various careers, tips and expertise all coalesce for a successful repositioning.
With each assignment and project, my knowledge and expertise become deeper and more elaborate. Be it globally or nationally, an SME or large corporation – my career is my calling; I am dedicated to and passionate about my work.
